Shah Lab Research on Generative AI for Digital Pathology to Be Presented at 2026 ITCR Annual Meeting hosted by the National Cancer Institute
Talk: Friday, July 17, 2026, Plenary Talks VI, 3:30pm - 4:45pm ET Grace Auditorium Conference: NCI ITCR 2026 Annual Meeting: July 15-17, 2026 Venue: Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, 1 Bungtown Road, Cold Spring Harbor, NY 11724
Lab’s paper, “Generative Deep Learning for Computational Destaining and Restaining of Unregistered Digital Pathology Images,” was accepted for a full-length presentation at NCI ITCR 2026.
Lead author: Aarushi Kulkarni. Dr. Pratik Shah will present the work.
Talk Topics
- Generative deep learning for digital pathology
- Computational destaining and restaining of tissue images
- Methods for unregistered image data
- Applications in cancer research
This work presents new generative deep learning methods for digital pathology, developed in the Shah Lab. The approach addresses computational destaining and restaining of tissue images that are not registered to one another. It supports scalable, automated analysis of pathology data for cancer research.
